Action Alert; Veterans Need Your Help!

Once again my friends we need to take action and stand up for our heroes… President Bush is sending a bill to Congress that will give health care benefits to Veterans of the Armed Forces that were medically discharged from the military due to physical and/or mental disabilities. Currently, Veterans who are discharged from the military with a disability rating of 20% or less are given a small severance pay, with no medical benefits for them or their family members when they enter the civilian world. Some Veterans are not able to find work because of their service-connected disability, while some family members have to take off work, or quit their job entirely to take care of their Veteran…

We must let it be known that we will take care of our troops, it is the very least our government can do to pay back for their service to our country. Remember, these Veterans go from serving our country, having insurance to compensate their disability, to jobless and without any medical coverage, while their illness continues and in some cases, for the rest of their lives.

I’m encouraging all who read this to click on the link below, read the details and call, email or fax the Congress. This is a great way to show real support for our troops. If we can give free medical care to illegal immigrants, don’t you think we can continue medical coverage for our Veterans?

The Congress has heard us once, now they can hear us again… We will be watching to see what politician(s) will need to be held accountable if they dare try undermining our troops again!

Thank you for your support!

National POW/MIA Recognition Day

As we look forward to the weekend to escape the workweek, enjoy time with our families, watch a football game or travel our American highways–today we should take a moment and remember our heroes who remain locked away in a foreign land, our heroes who have never been found and our heroes who continue the hunt for them and bring them back home where they belong…

So I ask all of you to take a moment, just a couple of minutes to pause and remember the heroes who continue to count the days, weeks, months and the years until that one day they might reunite with their families…

Take a moment to appreciate how fortunate you are to have absolute freedom. No matter how tough things might seem in our lives, we will always be in a better place, enjoying a better life because of these heroic Americans…

Take a moment and think about your family, think about your spouse, your children and just imagine being away from them for many years, wondering how they’re doing, what they must look like and even wondering if they’re still alive…

Can you imagine?

Take a moment and think about the family members who still wait for that phone call, telling them that their loved one has been found after all these years…

Take a moment to remember, to think that somewhere out there are fellow Americans holding out hope that their country, their fellow Americans will find them and will continue searching until all are accounted for…

Take a moment and show them that they are Not Forgotten and they never will be forgotten,

Just Take A Moment…

Columbia University To Host Modern Day Hitler!

Source: Drudge Report

NEW YORK – Columbia University said it does not plan to call off a speech by Iran’s president despite pressure from critics including the City Council speaker, who said the Ivy League school was providing a forum for “hate-mongering vitriol.”

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is traveling to New York to address the United Nations’ General Assembly. He is scheduled to appear Monday at a question-and-answer session with Columbia faculty and students as part of the school’s World Leaders Forum.

Full Story

Columbia University in my book, is one, if not the worst university in our country! They are disgrace to our nation, and more specifically to New Yorkers and our military! To host a known sponsor of terrorism, a known leader that is sending destructive weapons into Iraq to kill and maim our military, someone who wants to wipe-out Israel, tells me that Columbia University does not care one ounce about the victims of 9/11, their families or our military fighting for us and dying at the hands of this modern-day Hitler! What a slap in the face to our country! They want to host this mini Hitler, because they invite “robust debate.”

So these jackasses at Columbia University would rather give this terrorist a world platform of propaganda and insult fellow Americans just to promote a “robust debate!” Yeah, that’s a great reason for hosting this forum, you losers! Ultimately, what Columbia University is saying is that it’s more important for this “prestige” school to allow a mass murderer to speak, than it is to respect the 9/11 victims and our fallen heroes…

Congratulations Columbia, you have won this week’s award for Americans being the most Un-American and Anti-Military! You even out performed this week, what an accomplishment…

So-Called Comedian Calls Our Troops Liars!

It is amazing to me that the average, everyday, moderate democrats who support our troops will not stand up for our troops, just because they don’t agree with the battle in Iraq… Since moderate democrats refuse to speak out against these military haters, that tells the rest of us that democrats are represented by computer geeks at, Congressmen that accuse our military of murder, Senators calling a 4 star General a liar and a so-called comedian that called the terrorists on 9/11 courageous and our military cowards! Plus, as you heard on the video Bill ‘What A Moron’ Maher joined the Petraeus bashing by calling him and our troops liars… Democrats should be proud to be represented by such great people!

Murtha Confronted; Still No Apology!

Now you tell me which is worst, a Senator arrested for tapping his foot in a bathroom, or a Congressman who accuses our Marines of killing Iraqi people in cold-blood on TV for the world to see and refuses to apologize? If you’re a democrat and you support our troops, then where is the outrage from your party? Are you proud to be represented by these haters?

MoveOn vs Moderate Democrats

I have been thinking a lot about the / New York Times ad about Gen. Petraeus, and I can’t help but wonder whether or not the average democrat, the moderate democrat really believes Gen. Petraeus is a traitor? Do democrats really agree with Is this what is to be expected from today’s liberals?

Maybe some of you can help me figure this out…

Since when did the democratic party start taking marching orders from a far-left website that was created by computer geeks? For those of you that don’t know, this far-left progressive site was founded in 1998 by Wes Boyd and Joan Blades. started as an online petition to stop the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in the aftermath of the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. Boyd and Blades are software engineers from Berkeley, California. They posted a petition on the Internet seeking signatures for Congress to censure Clinton and “move on” to other domestic issues. After the 9/11 terror attacks, MoveOn petitioned our government not to respond with military, but instead use diplomacy, thus starting their anti-war and anti-military drum beat. In walks George Soros, his deep pockets, and the rest is history…

So I want to pose these questions to any of you that support the democratic party…

Gen. Petraeus stated under oath, that he did not have anyone edit his testimony, he wrote himself and reported to the congress, the same congress who voted for him to go to Iraq, implement the surge and then report back to the congress his recommendations.

1. So do you believe the 4 star General or the democratic senators who called him a liar before he even testified?

2. Do you believe the war-hero or the MoveOn morons who ran the ad before he even testified?

Gen. Petraeus stated that the surge is making good progress. But Sen. Hillary Clinton decided to disrespect him and basically say that his word is no good to her, the almighty.

3. Do you believe the American Soldier who is there on the ground fighting this war, or the politicians who are in their air conditioned offices surrounded by secret service?

4. Do you believe the highly decorated military officer or the politicians who don’t even know what the medals on his chest represent?

The troops in Iraq say that they agree with and support Gen. Petraeus’ report, therefore liberal politicians are calling our troops liars and therefore called our troops traitors…

5. Do you believe our troops are lying?

6. Do you believe our troops are traitors?

President Bush says that he will go with the plan that Gen. Petraeus recommends, because he is the expert in this field, the same General that was overwhelmingly voted for by the democrats for the surge strategy…

7. If you were President, would you go with the General’s (the expert) recommendations, or would you go with the politicians who have no expertise in military operations whatsoever?

8. If you needed brain surgery, would you choose a brain surgeon or a mechanic?

Liberal politicians want to immediately withdrawal our troops from Iraq, and they want us to go back to the pre-9/11 days of playing defense…

9. Do you agree that we should stay on defense or do you think that a strong offense makes a good defense?

Former President Clinton had several opportunities to kill or capture Osama Bin Laden well before Sept. 11, 2001, but he decided to play defense instead…

10. Do you believe that if Clinton would have aggressively pursued Bin Laden then there is a good chance we would not be having this discussion today?

11. Do you honestly believe that Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama will protect you?

We always here liberal politicians say that there against the war, but they support our troops…

12. If you support our troops and your against this battle in Iraq, do you agree that the democrats should cut off the funds that supply our troops with weapons, ammo, armor, vehicles, food and water?

13. If your son or daughter was in Iraq, would you take away their essential items to live, because you want them to come home?

Democrats say they support our troops, but refuse to stand up for our troops and defend them against the anti-war / anti-military groups like MoveOn, DailyKos, Code Pink, Hollywood, etc…

14. If you were a democratic politician, would you publicly defend our troops, even if you’re against the war, or would you be more concerned with losing the far-left support come election day?

15. Are you proud to know that your liberal politicians don’t work for you, but for far-left extremists who inject their own power hungry agendas?

16. Are you proud to know that the MoveOns of the world are making decisions for you and your future and you no longer have a voice?

17. Is it an insult to you that a couple of computer programmers will decide how your party and your beliefs for your family and your country will be determined?

If you are tired of being over-ran by groups and politicians that want to inflict their power on you, that want to tear apart the fabric of America and change the landscape of our country for their own positioning, then it might be time for the moderate democrats to push back. If the moderate democrat continue to allow these far-left extremists to stomp on them in the attempts of pursuing extreme views, then the moderate democrats will soon be a thing of the past…

Are you proud of the direction your party is going?

Barbera Walters To Honor An American Traitor

I’ve been asked to post this letter to help spread the word about a true American Traitor… You’ll never see MoveOn write about real traitors to our country, but they won’t hesitate to slander a 4 star General and our military! So I say let’s fight fire with fire!

This is in memory of my brother -in- law LT. C. Thomsen Wieland
who spent 100 days at the Hanoi Hilton…

This is for all the kids born in the 70’s who do not remember, and didn’t have to bear the burden that our fathers, mothers and older
brothers and sisters had to bear.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the “100 Women of the Century.” BY BARBRA WALTERS.

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country,
but specific men who served and sacrificed
during Vietnam.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot’s name is Jerry Riscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison the “Hanoi Hilton.”

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ’s, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American
“Peace Activist” the “lenient and humane treatment” he’d received.

He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward on to the camp Commandant ‘s feet, which sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant’s frenzied
application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E’s). He spent 6 years in the “Hanoi Hilton”,,, the first three of which his family only knew he was “missing in action”. His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a “peace delegation” visit.

They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived.. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it , in the palm of his hand…

When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man’s hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: “Aren’t you sorry you bombed babies?” and “Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?” Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper.

Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia ; and one year in a “black box” in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a
nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South Vietnam , whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.)

We were Jane Fonda’s “war criminals.”

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi , I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received… and how
different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as “humane and lenient.” Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched
with a large steel weights placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV.
She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of “100 Years of Great Women.” Lest we forget…” 100 Years of Great Women” should never include a traitor whose hands are
covered with the blood of so many patriots.

There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane’s participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget.

Troops In Iraq Agree With Petraeus Report

Ed wrote a great article about the Petraeus Report and how the left is scheming their way to further undermine our military and their accomplishments.

Below is an article from

FORWARD OPERATING BASE DELTA, Iraq — At this wind-swept base near the Iranian border, the main points of Gen. David Petraeus’ testimony to Congress were met with widespread agreement among soldiers: The American troop buildup is working, but the military needs more time. Most of the soldiers at FOB Delta, some 100 miles southeast of Baghdad, were out on patrol or sleeping when Petraeus’ comments were broadcast late Monday and Tuesday in Iraq.

But some heard it and others have read about it, and say they agree with their commander’s assessment.

Staff Sgt. Matthew Nicholls of the 71st Medical Detachment, visiting FOB Delta from his post in southern Iraq to do an assessment, said the military still needs time to clean up mistakes made after the 2003 invasion, including the need to build an Iraqi army from scratch and to secure the borders.

“I think our initial assessment was too rosy,” he said after reading about the hearings while sitting in the library at the recreation center. “It takes time to build an army and I think we should’ve secured the borders right away.”

The 36-year-old from Mobile, Ala., also said American politicians need to be more understanding.

“They can be critical because they are politicians and their main goal is to be re-elected, but they see a much more limited piece than the troops on the ground,” he said.

“What happens in Washington D.C. when somebody signs a piece of paper doesn’t necessarily make it here in the desert,” he said. “You can’t make everybody come together. Sometimes the best you can do is find intermediaries and that takes time.” Read the entire article here…

So basically what it comes down to is that the Democrats on Criminal Hill do not believe Gen. Petraeus. The left says that the 4 star General, the war hero, a tremendous leader, with great integrity lied to them. They believe that Gen. Petraeus would purposely keep American troops under his command, in Iraq just to change public opinion! So if they do not believe Gen. Petraeus, they think he is a liar, a traitor, then they also think that our men and women over-there, sacrificing their lives while these Democrat dirt bags sip on their brandy, are liars and traitors too! Because if the troops agree with and support The Petraeus Report, then the left has to include our troops in the mud slinging…

Here is a General who does more in one day than any of these no good, weak, whiny liberal politicians will ever do in the course of their term! WHAT AN INSULT!

You have people like Barack Obama, this young, ignorant twit who doesn’t know a damn thing about the military, war, weapons, foreign policy and I bet he doesn’t even know how to render a proper salute!

Then there’s Joe Biden – so he is now an expert because he serves on the Armed Forces Committee? He has never spent not one day in the military and he has no inclination about military operations!

Harry Reid – when did this weak-moron become a military expert? I have more military experience in my left pinky finger than this American Traitor!

Chuck ‘The Schmuck’ Schumer – remember what he said last week. Well here’s a reminder…

(D-NY) Sen. Schumer, Congressional Record, 9/5/07, p. S 11090 – “And let me be clear: the violence in Anbar has gone down despite the Surge, not because of the Surge. The inability of American soldiers to protect these tribes from Al Qaeda said to these tribes: We have to fight Al Qaeda ourselves.”

Schumer was one of the 81 Senators who voted to confirm Petraeus last January, but of course the political winds were changing in another direction, but it’s to be expected from a moron!

So instead, let’s say our troops are doing nothing and let’s just give the credit to the warlords. Real nice you Anti-Military loser!

I could make a list of all of the weak, backstabbing, anti-military, losers on the left who go to great extremes to degrade, insult, disrespect, undermine, cheat, lie, steal and sacrifice the great work and accomplishments our military is doing. But to make it easier for you to decipher through the whole list of losers, just ponder this and then you can make your own list of progressive puppets…

Isn’t interesting that no liberal has denounced the ad in the New York Times calling Gen. Petraeus a traitor? The Republicans stood up for this great General, so why can’t the sissies on the left do the same. You would think that the Dems are funded by this group, or conducting daily conference calls or something? Is it obvious to you? I mean the MoveOn Morons said they own the Democrats, that’s there words, not mine!

What A DISGRACE! The once great party of Truman and Roosevelt has fallen to the bottom of the barrel, the lowest level a party can go, a depth where even magnets would be disgusted to prey upon!

I feel sorry for moderate Democrats who are being represented by these far-left loonies. I can only hope that this will be a wake up call for common sense Liberals who might not agree with the war, but do acknowledge that the surge is working and to insult and undermine our military is Un-American…

9/11; The Day We United

As most Americans took some time to reflect on the worst day in American history – as we remember the images of airplanes flying into the WTC, the Pentagon and an open field in Pennsylvania – the images of fellow Americans covered in ash and dust confused, shocked and scared, fleeing to safety – first responders rushing to the scenes knowing that they would probably not live through the day, while their loved ones watch the events unfold on TV, the mighty towers crashing to the ground – images burned into our memory…

But, I can’t help to think that some Americans have let the attacks on 9/11 be replaced with complacency.

We went from being one country, united, strong and resolute to six years later, becoming the most divided our country has been in recent history. Six years later and some Americans rather point fingers than wave our flag. Six years later, have we forgotten?

Will it take another attack to wake us up and unite our country long term? Or is our country’s division too far gone where nothing will make it long-lasting?

September 11, 2001, a day that will forever be in our history, a day where the best of America was unveiled, a day where heroes answered the call – only six years ago – and look at us now…

Fileted Petraeus for Dinner Anyone?

To me, the most troubling aspect in the Petraeus report, is that it really didn’t matter what he said.  The anti-war response was going to be the same.  In fact, liberals spent a week planning ways to discredit Petraeus’ before he even left Iraq! Now, the ‘spin doctors’ in the mainstream media will have a heyday with the report no matter what it contains or how presented.

Case in point, before the General and the Ambassador were finished, CNN and MSNBC they were playing and replaying the Warner and Petraeus exchange. Senator Warner asked, “Are you able to say at this time, if we continue what you’ve laid before the congress here as a strategy, do you feel that, that is making America safer?”

The General’s reply was less that satisfactory, “Sir, I believe that this is indeed the best course of action to achieve our objectives in Iraq.” It was a measured response, perhaps rehearsed, so the Senator asked his question again a little more directly to which the General replied. “Sir, I…I don’t know actually. I have not sat down and sorted that out in my own mind.  What I have been focused on and riveted on, is how to accomplish the mission… ”

If Petraeus had said, “Certainly, this will definitely make our country safer,” the media would rip him apart as ‘spouting the party line,’ or being in ‘Bush’s hip pocket,’ especially since the question was asked by a Republican. Petraeus, in my book, did a superb job of not taking the bait dangled before him on several occasions. What else could he say? How could he, or any of us, know what effect a strategy will have?

What the General did not say, because he wasn’t asked, is what has been done already made America safer? Are we to believe that the war has had no impact on Al Qaeda’s capability? That somehow the FBI, CIA, and the newly born Department of Homeland Security has miraculously started working overnight with such precision that we’ve not had a successful attack in six years, especially when they were so broken and fragmented before?

Petraeus was asked to speculate on something that God can only know. He was asked a question that a field commander shouldn’t be grappling with. General Petraeus doesn’t set policy or belong to a think tank. As a field commander, he should be ‘riveted’ on the mission given by Washington policy makers.

Chris Matthews, on MSNBC’s Hardball,” says he’s deeply disturbed by a General who doesn’t know if what his troops are doing will make America safer. Does a cop hitting the street every day “know” if their sacrifice will reduce crime and make the city safer? Matthews goes on to say that General George Washington knew, as did General Eisenhower knew. Really Chris? Even if those Generals’ context were the same, how do you know what Washington or Eisenhower ‘knew.’ They didn’t know if what they were doing was going to work or not, put they did fight against an enemy.

It seems like we Americans demand foolproofing everything. This is evident in the way we file lawsuits over everything. Or rush to pass a new law when something catastrophic happens.  It may be therapeutic, but it won’t foolproof anything.  What we want is utopia on earth.  I’ll bet I know one man that will be glad to get back to Baghdad.
